| A few words |
|
A magnificent beach in the west of Corfu which local people in nearby villages, called Sinarades and Kato Garouna, feel very proud of.
There are plenty hotels, restaurants and bars for all our tourists who always choose this area for their vacations. In Agios Gordios there is an astonishing rocky area in the north where the sea has transformed these rocks into natural works of art. The vast rock of "Aerostato" dominates the whole place which used to be called "Varthia" in Greece and " Nightshift" in English, because of the pirate's threat to our west coasts in the past. You can visit "Aerostato" and the beaches by the north side of the village "Sinarades".
On the south end of Agios Gordios there's a unique place called "Ortholithi" which is also a dominating rock in the sea which even our famous writer Jacob Polylas refers to in one of the novels |
